ProCare has a great client near New Orleans, Louisiana that is looking for an adapted physical education or APE teacher. Special Education teachers with their certification will be accepted but must enroll in a program to be certified in APE and they can start their assignment during this process.
This position is currently full-time, working about 37.5 hours a week for the entire school year term. The district is more than likely to renew for the next year.
The teacher will have 4 school sites to travel to and will be working with a caseload that consists of pre-kindergarten to 8th grade students.
Ideal candidates must be able to start soon, hold a LA license and is certified in APE as well as have a Master’s level degree in Physical Education with a specialty in adaptive education.
