There is currently a job opening at an Aurora, IL school district for a school-based social worker. Job is full-time, 35 hours a week, with a daily work schedule of Monday-Friday 8:30-3:45. This school social worker job would begin in early April and would last through end of school year.
 
Any candidate applying for this job must have appropriate Illinois licensure to work as a school social worker.  This position would cover a middle school caseload of approximately 45-50, 6th-8th grade students.  Currently there are 5-7 evaluations that need to be completed; all testing and therapy materials will be provided by the district.  Also, you would be provided an individual office and district laptop.
 
Job Details/Credentials:
• Appropriate Illinois licensure as a school social worker
• Monday-Friday (8:30-3:45) 35 HOURS PER WEEK
• Middle School (6th – 8th grade)
• Caseload of 45-50 students
• 5-7 evaluations need to be completed
• All testing and therapy materials provided by the District
• Individual office
