Schools - Deaf / Hard of Hearing Specialist

ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district just south of the Maryland and Pennsylvania boarder to hire a full time Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHHT). This DHHT will be working with students aged from birth to 21 years old. This position would be itinerant, but ProCare Therapy does offer assistance.
To qualify for this full-time opening, applicants must have a Master’s Degree in Deaf Education. Additionally, candidates must hold (or be eligible to obtain by August 20th) a valid Maryland Hard of Hearing or Communication Handicapped credential by the CTC. This DHHT should have knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL), deaf culture, and hearing loss.
This position is open to local candidates as well as out-of-state Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher who are interested in relocating to Westminster. For traveling candidates, ProCare Therapy can provide a housing stipend, relocation reimbursement, and can assist you as your obtain state certification in deaf education.
Salary will be based on experience.
