Job Opportunity for a Special Education Teacher in St. Johnsbury, VT
 
ProCare Therapy is seeking a full time Special Education Teacher to work at a district in the St. Johnsbury area. We are working with a very supportive school district that is looking for a Special Education Teacher with great communication and problem solving skills.
 
As the Special Education Teacher you will:

  • Identify the needs of assigned students through formal and informal assessments.
  • Plan, develop, and implement individualized learning plans for each student.
  • Collaborate with parents, administration and general education to review IEP's
  • Keep accurate records of students educational development

Job Specifics:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 7:45AM-3:45PM
  • K-8 population
  • General special education

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in the related field
  • Active VT license
  • Must pass background/drug screening tests
