Job Description: We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed in Virginia to join our team. As a Virtual SLP, you will provide teletherapy services to students in a school setting, ensuring their speech and language needs are effectively addressed. Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication challenges.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support.
- Monitor and track student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Valid VA certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Active ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) is a mandatory requirement.
- A minimum of two years of experience working as an SLP in a school setting.
- Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and technology (recommended).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Reliable internet connection, appropriate technology, and a dedicated workspace for teletherapy.
