1:1 Paraprofessional - Southfield, MI

Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to work in a 1:1 capacity with a male kindergarten student in Southfield, MI. This is a full-time position with an immediate start date. The candidate must have experience and be comfortable with restraining the student. CPI or Handle with Care training is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to a male kindergarten student
  • Assist with academic activities and behavioral interventions as needed
  • Implement strategies to support the student's individual needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the student's success

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Paraprofessional or similar role
  • Comfortable with restraining students when necessary
  • CPI or Handle with Care training certification required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
