Job Description:
We are seeking experienced American Sign Language Interpreter to work one-on-one with a 4th grade student with Down Syndrome. The ideal candidates will be fluent in ASL and English, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing inclusive and accessible services. This Candidate will collaborate effectively on a team and adapt to fit the students needs.
KEY INFORMATION
Term: Current School Year and into the New School Year
Hours Per Week:
- Part-Time Opportunity
- 4 Day Work Week (M, TU, W, F)
- 9:15am-4:10pm
- 28 hours per week
Caseload:
- 1:1 Position
- 4th Grade Student
- Down Syndrome
Location: Onsite
Qualifications: Must have either a National Interpreter Certification (NIC), OR Certified Deaf Interpreter Certification (CDI)
Benefits:
- Hourly Pay Rate Starting at $35/hour (determined based on experience and qualifications)
- Weekly Paychecks
