ProCare Therapy is seeking a motivated and certified Paraprofessional to join our team in Reno, NV. This full-time position allows you to make a positive impact by supporting students with their behavior intervention plans in a collaborative school setting.
Position: Paraprofessional
Location: Reno, NV
Hours: Full-Time
Certification: High School Diploma
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Classroom Activities: Assist with lessons and adapt materials for students with special needs.
- Encourage Participation: Help students stay engaged and manage behavior.
- Provide Personal Care: Assist with mobility, hygiene, or feeding as needed.
- Track Progress: Observe and document students’ progress and share updates with the teacher.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some roles may require additional coursework.
- Certification: May need certification or to pass a qualifying exam.
- Experience: Experience with children, especially those with special needs, is preferred.
- Skills: Good communication, patience, and organizational skills are essential.
