Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with diverse communication needs.
- Provide speech therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and colleagues to enhance student outcomes.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering valuable insights into speech and language needs.
- Stay current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Texas state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with school-aged children is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours per week.
- The caseload includes students from Pre K through 12th grade.
