21-22 Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist Job near Charlotte, NC

Applicants must have at least a Master’s in Deaf Education

We are currently hosting interviews for a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher position at one of our partnering school districts in the Charlotte, North Carolina area for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. 

Position Details: 

• School assignment for the upcoming school year
  Full time - 37.5 hours
  Itinerant K - 12th grade direct services program
• Students range in age from preschool to transition. Most students are in general education placements and require supplementary instruction from a teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing. Some students have multiple disabilities. It is a diverse caseload.
• Must be Licensed in North Carolina as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of hearing
• The candidate for this position must be available for in person or remote teaching. Experience as an itinerant teacher of the DHH is preferred.
