Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' communication disorders and challenges.
- Create individualized treatment plans and goals to meet the unique speech and language needs of each student.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students through engaging live video sessions, utilizing advanced telepractice platforms.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement effective strategies and interventions.
- Monitor and meticulously document students' progress, proactively adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized records, including session notes, evaluations, and progress reports.
- Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to students' educational planning.
- Stay current with the latest research, resources, and evidence-based practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Hold a valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Minnesota.
- Maintain ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting.
- Display proficiency in utilizing technology and feel comfortable working with telepractice platforms.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Showcase strong organizational abilities, enabling efficient management of caseloads.
- Be self-motivated, responsible, and possess the ability to work independently.
