ProCare Therapy is seeking passionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our dynamic team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of students with diverse needs. Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral challenges.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students to promote positive behavior and social skills development.
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behavior, and use this information to make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to student support.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Follow ethical and professional standards when working with students and their families.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Experience working with children or individuals with behavioral challenges (school or related settings preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
  • Dedication to the well-being and success of all students.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies and techniques.
