Summary:
General education teachers create lesson plans that are meaningful and meet the needs of all students while implementing the district curriculum and providing effective instruction.
Position Details:
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 06/13/25 - Subject to change
Hours: 10 per week
Student Age Group: K - 12th
Caseload: Services and Assessment
Location: Onsite
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops, plans, and implements curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs for student audiences within areas of expertise.
- Advises, tests, and teaches students audiences in a variety of academic subjects. Presents and reinforces learning concepts within a specified subject or subject area.
- Prepares appropriate documentation and reports on programs and on student progress.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in special education or a relevant area
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- California credentials for special education
