ProCare Therapy is working with a district in the Racine, Wisconsin area who is in need for a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team! In this role, you will provide specialized instruction to help students succeed academically, adapt curriculum materials for students with learning disabilities, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment within the school. - Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate students with learning disabilities
- Provide differentiated instruction within one-on-one, small group, and whole-class settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, paraprofessionals, and parents to support student progress
- Monitoring three low-functioning, non-verbal students
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
- Current WI certification/licensure as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized instruction and behavior management techniques
- Must pass background checks and meet state/local certification requirements
