ProCare Therapy is looking for a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join a supportive and highly regarded school district in Birmingham, Alabama for the 2024-2025 academic year. Position Overview:
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Duration: Current School Year (with high potential for renewal)
  • Caseload: K-12 (specific assignments to be discussed during interviews)
  • Work Environment: Collaborative and supportive school setting with access to necessary resources
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, teachers, and staff
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to improve student behavior and learning outcomes
  • Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and families in behavior management strategies
  • Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to ensure students receive appropriate support services
 
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in a related field (Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, etc.)
  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license in Alabama
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavior modification techniques
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
