Job Title: Full-Time Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Tempe, AZ - 2023/2024 School Year

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team for the 2023/2024 school year in Tempe, AZ. As an SLP, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive speech and language services to students in a school setting. This position requires proficiency in English and another language, enabling effective communication and support for bilingual students and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders and delays.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, parents, and staff on speech and language development strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided, including progress reports and Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation.
  • Stay informed about current research, best practices, and trends in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Arizona.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, particularly bilingual students.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Ability to assess and interpret assessment results accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Organizational skills to manage caseload, documentation, and scheduling effectively.
