Exciting BCBA Opportunity in Port Charlotte, FL – 2024-2025 School Year
ProCare Therapy is thrilled to offer a fulfilling opportunity for a dedicated BCBA (Board-Certified Behavior Analyst) to join a forward-thinking school district in Port Charlotte, FL for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time role presents an incredible chance to make a lasting impact on student behavior and academic success while working within a collaborative, supportive school community.
Position Details:
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Analyze student data to track progress and refine behavioral interventions
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
- Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Work closely with school staff and families to ensure consistent behavior management strategies across environments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Exceptional Student Education, or a related field
- BCBA certification required (or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire)
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with children displaying challenging behaviors
- State-specific teaching certification required
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
