These positions will allow you to work closely with both students and staff, with ample opportunities to collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to making a positive impact.

What to Expect as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll be working in classrooms with students who have higher medical needs, helping with daily activities and health management. You'll also be performing para duties, offering essential support to teachers and other classroom aides. Behavioral training may be provided if necessary, so you'll need to be flexible and willing to learn. Your role as a CNA will be crucial in providing hands-on care, support, and assistance in these special education classrooms.

Position Details:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Location: Portland, ME
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• September 3rd, 2024 – June 13th, 2025
• K-12 caseload with multiple openings across the district
• Pay Range: $18 - $25 per hour, based on experience
• Comprehensive Insurance and Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)
• W-2 classification with weekly pay
• Matching 401(k)

Qualifications Needed:

• Must have an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• Must pass fingerprints and drug screening
• Previous experience in healthcare or school settings preferred but not required
