We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Santa Clara, California. As a COTA, you will work closely with a licensed Occupational Therapists to help students achieve their goals and enhance their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by Occupational Therapists for students with a wide range of conditions, including neurological, orthopedic, and developmental disorders.
- Assist students with activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills, coordination, and balance.
- Use adaptive equipment and assistive technology to help patients perform activities safely and independently.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with others, such as teachers, parents/guardians, speech therapists, physical therapists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care for students.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or a similar field from an accredited institution.
- Active certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a COTA in California.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation:
- 30.00+ hourly
- Dependent on Experience
