Certified or Registered Behavior Technicians - Lynnwood, Washington

Job Description

I work directly with a school district in the Lynnwood Washington area looking to hire either Registered or Certified Behavior Technicians (RBT/CBT). This position is full-time for the remainder of the school year with a strong chance of renewing into the next school.

Most of our contracted positions are working 1:1 with a student in the district throughout ages K-12. Contractors are placed with students that have behaviors issues that can range from small to extreme.

Positions working with students that have extreme behaviors will be compensated more for their caseload. 


Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior plans and interventions as designed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect and record data on student progress and behavior
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other members of the student's educational team
• Participate in regular meetings with the BCBA to discuss student progress and modify behavior plans as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) accredited through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Or Certified Behavior Technician credential through Washington DOH

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred but not required
• Experience working with children with ASD in a school setting, clinic, in-home 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass a background check
