Personal Care Assistants Needed – Elizabethtown Area School District

ProCare Therapy is hiring dedicated Paraprofessionals (PCAs) to support students in a Middle School Autistic Support Classroom in Elizabethtown, PA. This is a full-time position with meaningful opportunities to make a difference in students’ lives.


Position Details:

  • Location: Elizabethtown, PA
  • Hours: 35-37.5 hours/week
  • Start: ASAP
  • End: June 6, 2025

Responsibilities:

  • Work 1:1 with students as outlined in their IEPs.
  • Manage severe behaviors (hitting, biting, spitting, running).
  • Assist with toileting, diapering, and lifting as required.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or higher (proof required).
  • CPR and First Aid Certified (resources available).
  • Comfortable with all responsibilities – no accommodations provided.
