Contracted Psychologist for 23/24 School Year, Sterling Heights, MI

SCHOOL PSYCH NEED

ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to work full-time for the 23/24 SY. This position will be working with students ranging in ages from 3-14. The School Psychologist will be responsible for conducting evaluations and assessments, providing counseling services, and collaborating with teachers and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students who may need special education services or support
• Provide counseling services to students who may be experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to review student progress and make recommendations for services and supports
• Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding student behavior and academic performance
• Maintain accurate records of all evaluations, assessments, and services provided

Requirements:

• Master's degree in School Psychology
• Active state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
