We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Contracted School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Taft, CA.

Job Summary: We are hiring a Contracted School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services to students in Taft, CA. This is a W-2 contract position for the full school year. The position is Full-time, consisting of 15 hours per week. As an SLP, you will work with students across the K-12 grade range.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop effective communication strategies and support student progress.
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress reports and treatment notes.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and techniques to support students' speech and language development.
  • Provide consultation and training to teachers and other staff members on strategies to promote effective communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for helping students improve their communication skills and achieve their goals.
