Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher
Position: DHH Teacher
Location: Truckee, Ca
Duration: 2024/2025 School Year; Full Time (30+ hours a week)
Caseload: Specifics will be provided during interview

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs for students with hearing impairments.
- Provide direct instruction in various settings.
- Use diverse teaching strategies and technologies.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families.
- Conduct assessments and adjust instruction.
- Advocate for student needs and provide resources.
- Stay updated on best practices and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
- Strong understanding of hearing impairments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with diverse student needs preferred.
