Early Childhood Special Education (SPED) Teacher Position Available in Lawton, OK

ProCare Therapy is actively seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join our team in Lawton, Oklahoma. We have two exciting positions available, including one in Early Childhood. These contract roles offer a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives.

Description:

• Number of Openings: 2
  • Position 1: Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
  • Position 2: Full-time Special Education Teacher for the 23/24 school year
• Start Date: Immediate
• End Date: May 16, 2024

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Cultivate an inclusive and supportive classroom environment to enhance learning and development.
• Collaborate closely with fellow educators, support staff, and parents to address the diverse needs of students.
• Deliver specialized instruction and tailored support to help students attain their academic and developmental objectives.
• Continuously assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching techniques as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation related to student performance and IEPs.
• Cultivate a positive and nurturing learning environment that nurtures the social and emotional growth of students.

Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Hold a valid Special Education teaching certification in the state of Oklahoma.
• Demonstrate experience working with students encompassing a wide range of disabilities and special needs.
• Possess a strong comprehension of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and best practices in special education.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Display unwavering commitment to delivering top-quality education and support to students with special needs.
