Elementary Classroom Teacher Opening | Kindergarten

Location: Columbus, OH - North Central

Salary Range: $22-$28 per hour

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and certified Kindergarten Classroom Teacher for the 23/24 school year. As a Kindergarten Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic growth of young students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with Ohio state standards and meet the individual needs of each student in the classroom.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage and motivate students, including hands-on activities, games, and songs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and promotes respect and kindness.
• Communicate regularly with parents and families to share updates on student progress, classroom activities, and upcoming events.
• Administer assessments and track student progress to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to plan school-wide events and activities.
• Create a safe and healthy classroom environment that meets all health and safety standards.
• Attend professional development sessions and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• State of Ohio Teaching Certification.
• Prior experience teaching Kindergarten or Early Childhood Education.
• Knowledge of Ohio state standards and early childhood development.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a love of working with young children.
