ProCare Therapy is partnering with Indian Prairie CUSD 204 in Aurora, IL, to find a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a self-contained autism classroom. Position Details:

• Classroom Type: Self-contained classroom for students with autism.
• Number of Positions: 1 full-time Special Education Teacher opening.
• Onsite Position: This is an onsite role (no remote options).
• Hours per Week: Full-time (typically 37.5–40 hours per week).

What You Need to Apply:

• A valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education endorsement.
• Experience or comfort working with students with autism in a self-contained classroom setting.
• Ability to create individualized learning plans and modify curriculum to meet students’ needs.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, structured learning environment.
• Compassion, patience, and a passion for supporting students' social and academic growth.

Interview Process:

1. Step 1: Phone screening (10-15 minutes) to discuss your background and qualifications.
2. Step 2: Virtual or in-person interview with the school district.
3. Step 3: Job offer extended within 24-48 hours of the interview.
