Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PreK-5th Grade Caseload Location: Capitola, CA
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
School Year: 2023-2024

Are you an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SLP to join our team in Capitola, CA, for the upcoming 23/24 school year. As an SLP, you will work with a PreK-5th grade caseload, providing essential speech and language therapy services to support students' communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment results
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and parents regarding strategies for facilitating language development
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of students' IEP goals
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with PreK-5th grade students is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and their treatment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential
