ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with middle and high school students in Redford, MI. This full-time opportunity is ideal for educators passionate about providing individualized support to help students overcome challenges and achieve their fullest potential.

Position Overview:

• Location: Redford, MI
• Grade Levels: 7-12
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday
• Contract Duration: Full school year
• Classroom Details: Caseload specifics will be discussed during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction and support in resource or inclusion settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student success.
• Employ evidence-based strategies to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Active Michigan Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience with middle or high school students preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to work effectively within a team.
