Full time OM Specialist (Orientation and Mobility)- School Position

ProCare Therapy is currently interviewing for a full-time Orientation & Mobility Specialist to work in a school district in the Lexington Park, MD area for the current school year and next. This position will be for the remainder of this school year working with students k-12. Experience with all ages and of students and the ability to work full time school hours is needed. This OM Specialist position pays weekly and offers medical insurance benefits. 

Job Details:

• 35 hours a week
• multiple school sites (mileage reimbursed)
• K-12 Caseload
• flexible schedule
• 1 year contract (option to renew annually)
• weekly pay, medical insurance benefits available

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification in Orientation and Mobility by the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation Educational Professionals (ACVREP)

or

• National Orientation and Mobility Certification Board (NOMC)
• state of Maryland license active or in process
