Full Time Paraprofessional - Oswego, IL

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to work with our students in Oswego, IL. The Paraprofessional will work closely with teachers and other school personnel to provide support and assistance to students with diverse learning needs.

Job Description: 

• Full time position; 35-37.5 hours per week 
• Special and General education openings

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to students under the direction of a certified teacher
• Assist with classroom management and behavior support
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and skill development
• Provide support to students with special needs, including physical and/or cognitive disabilities
• Monitor and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of students
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school personnel
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
