ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave of absence coverage in Chesapeake, VA. This is a full-time contract position with a caseload spanning two consecutive leaves until mid-February.

Responsibilities:

• October - December: You will work with an elementary caseload, consisting of approximately 40-45 students. Your responsibilities will include assessments, therapy sessions, and collaborating with teachers and parents to develop individualized plans.

• January - Mid-February: Transition to a middle school caseload, continuing to serve approximately 40-45 students. You will provide speech-language services, track progress, and adapt interventions as needed.

• We are open to considering experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for this position.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
• Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Virginia.
• Previous experience working in school settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to different caseloads and settings.
