Now Hiring: Speech Pathologists

Our school district is currently seeking applicants for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) in the DC area - SLPs will join a dynamic, highly-talented team of SLPs, OTs, and Special Educators! The SLP is responsible for evaluation, creation, and implementation of therapy plans, accurate and reliable data collection, consultation, and training with family and staff. SLPs will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create and maintain therapy plans that address all speech and language needs of our wonderful students. SLPs will be caring for a widely varied caseload of Preschool - High school students, totaling somewhere around 50 students. 

The hours for this role are from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, from Monday to Friday. SLPs are paid for all hours worked, including indirect hours. SLPs will only be required to perform tasks relevant to their position, and will not be asked to supervise recess, be on lunch duty, busy duty, etc. Candidates will also have a 30-minute unpaid lunch break every day. 

To qualify for this position, applicants must have a state-administered Speech Pathologist license, their ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), and their DC DOH License. References will be checked, and all accepted candidates must pass a drug screening, background check, and fingerprinting. This is federally and state-mandated, and ensures the safety of our wonderful students.
