Full-Time School Psychologist – Albert Lea, MN
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a highly respected school district in Albert Lea, MN, to find a skilled and dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time contract position. This opportunity will involve working with students across a wide range of age groups, from Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) to secondary grades (8-12). The ideal candidate will help support student success through assessments, behavior intervention, and collaboration with teachers and other school staff.

- Location: Albert Lea, MN
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
- Caseload: District-wide (ECSE to Grades 8-12)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 28, 2025
Position Overview
In this role, the School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services across the district. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting student assessments, implementing Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies, and collaborating with IEP teams to ensure students receive the academic and behavioral support they need. The psychologist will also be instrumental in supporting the development and execution of behavior intervention plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Assessments: Perform evaluations and re-evaluations to assess student progress, academic achievement, and behavioral development.
- RTI Implementation: Collect and analyze data to support RTI models aimed at addressing academic and behavioral concerns.
- Behavioral Intervention: Develop and monitor behavior intervention plans and conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to support students’ needs.
- Collaboration with Teams: Partner with teachers, IEP teams, and school staff to identify student needs and implement interventions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and maintain accurate records on student progress, interventions, and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Required: Active Minnesota School Psychologist License
- Experience: Previous experience with RTI, data-driven interventions, and conducting FBAs.
- Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with students, families, and educational staff.
- Knowledge: Expertise in behavioral support and development of behavior intervention plans.
