School Psychologist

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist for a school district in Hardin, MT. The School Psychologist will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of our students. This position involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement effective interventions and strategies
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development and review of IEPs
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for parents, teachers, and other stakeholders on relevant topics
  • Actively participate in the school's multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) process
  • Monitor and track student progress, and make data-driven recommendations for intervention and support
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and education

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in the state of Montana
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to the well-being of students
