Full-Time School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

ProCare Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for a full-time position in Baltimore, MD. As an SLPA, you will be responsible for providing direct therapy services to students with communication disorders, assisting the licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in evaluations, developing and implementing therapy plans, and maintaining progress reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders as per IEP goals and objectives
  • Assist the licensed SLP in evaluations, assessments, and report writing
  • Develop and implement therapy plans based on student needs and goals
  • Maintain progress reports and documentation of therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students’ communication and language development
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide input regarding students’ communication needs

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Communication Disorders or related field
  • Valid Maryland SLPA license or eligible for Maryland state licensure
  • Experience working with school-aged children
  • Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
