Job Description

Special Education Teacher

Location: Wentworth, NH

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IEPs.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to adapt curriculum and instruction.
  • Monitor student progress using assessments and data.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Valid New Hampshire teaching license in Special Education.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
  • Experience with IEP development and implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
