Position: Full-Time Special Education Teacher (SPED)
Location: Leominster, MA
School Year: 2024/2025
Hours: 35-37.5 hours per week
Classroom Setting: Separate ABA-Based Classroom
Student Population: Middle School
Role Overview:
- Deliver specialized instruction in an ABA-based classroom designed for middle school students.
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Apply ABA principles to promote learning, behavioral development, and overall student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure effective educational strategies.
- Continuously assess and adjust teaching methods based on student performance and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in special education and familiarity with ABA methodologies preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage and support middle school students with varying needs.
