Job Title: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Springfield, Ohio

Position Type: Full-Time- 37.5 hours per week

Start Date: 2023-2024 School Year.

Position Overview: As a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in helping students from Kindergarten through 12th grade develop effective communication skills. You will assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders, collaborating closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to create customized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students with various communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student assessments and progress.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of goals and accommodations.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Support a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Ohio state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with K-12th grade students is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
