Job Description

ProCare Therapy is looking for a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Norco, California, for a full-time contracted position. This opportunity starts immediately and will last until the end of the school year. In this role, the SLP will work with K-12 students, providing speech and language therapy to address a wide variety of communication challenges.

As an SLP, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ academic and social development by helping them improve their speech and language skills. You’ll work with a manageable caseload, allowing you to provide individualized attention to each student while maintaining a balanced workload. The position offers a dynamic, collaborative environment where you’ll work alongside educators, special education staff, and other professionals to create effective treatment plans and deliver high-quality therapy.

  • Hourly Rate: Starting at $48/hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students across K-12th grade
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and treatment goals based on evaluation results
  • Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions for students with varying needs
  • Track student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to ensure integrated therapy services
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on speech and language goals and strategies
  • Support students with social skills, articulation, language, and communication strategies

Job Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Active SLP licensure in California
  • Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Passion for helping students develop communication skills and succeed academically
