Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist Needed in Norfolk, VA Immediate Start

ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, contracted position in Norfolk, Virginia. This exciting opportunity begins immediately and runs through the end of the school year. The position will involve working with PreK-12th grade students with a variety of speech and language needs.

As an SLP, you will have the chance to work with a diverse group of students, from young children in PreK to older students in high school, helping them develop critical communication skills. You will be part of a collaborative team, supporting students in both individual and group settings. The position offers a manageable caseload, allowing you to focus on providing high-quality care while making a lasting impact on students' lives.

• Position Type: Full-time, contracted

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: End of the school year
• Hourly Rate: Starting at $38/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments for PreK-12th grade students
• Develop individualized treatment plans to address specific speech and language goals
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to students with varying needs
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide necessary updates on student progress

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Active SLP licensure in Virginia
• Previous school or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping students achieve their communication goals
