Job Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Illinois.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with early childhood populations (ages 3-5) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy techniques, and evidence-based interventions relevant to early childhood speech and language development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to working with young children.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic educational environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
