Job Description
We are currently accepting candidates for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in Hampton, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced SLPs (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) to join a dynamic educational team dedicated to enhancing student success through effective speech and language services.
Key Responsibilities:

Full-Time Commitment: Work 37.5 hours per week, providing comprehensive speech-language therapy to students across various grade levels, from PreK through 12th grade.

Diverse Caseload: Address a range of communication needs within the school district, adapting your approach to meet the unique challenges of students from early childhood through high school.

Assistive Technology: Experience with assistive technology is a plus, as you will be expected to incorporate these tools into your therapy plans to support student communication and learning.

Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the specific needs of each student.

Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate records, ensuring all therapy sessions and student progress are thoroughly documented in accordance with state and district guidelines.
Qualifications:

Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for a Speech-Language Pathologist license in Virginia.

Certification: Open to candidates with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Experience: Prior experience working with a PreK-12 student population is highly desirable. Familiarity with assistive technology is an advantage.

Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
