Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled SLP to join our team in Memphis, TN for a full-time position. This role will involve working with students from K-12 grade, providing essential speech and language services to support their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals in collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress for students across various grade levels.
- Conduct evaluations and screenings to determine students' needs and effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development and academic success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Tennessee.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working with K-12 grade students is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
