Job Description
ProCare Therapy is currently accepting applications for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position in Soledad, CA, for the entire 24/25 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional seeking a rewarding career in a supportive educational environment. Candidates will work with an assigned caseload students at one of multiple school sites, including middle, and high schools. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to students, ensuring their educational and communication needs are met
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Document and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or ability to obtain CA state licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
