To be considered for this position, applicants must have their IL SLP License to qualify for an interview. We would prefer candidates with experience in the school system if possible!
For this position, the SLP will be supporting a diverse student caseload comprising of K-12 students - disabilities in this population include Autism, OHI, multiple disabilities, etc. You’ll work alongside our talented Special Education team, helping provide assessments and treatments of students with speech and language disorders, including development, mental, and organic involvement according to organized plans of care. Assistants will help the SLPs in assessing the student’s level of functioning and the development (and revision, as necessary), applying appropriate tests for speech, hearing and language disorders. Recording and reporting the student’s response to treatment and any changes in the student’s condition in response to treatment plans.
