ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 academic year within one of our esteemed school districts. Please peruse the details below regarding job responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with disabilities, ensuring customized instruction that meets individual requirements.
- Adjust teaching methods and materials to cater to students' various learning styles, abilities, and challenges.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, specialists, and other staff to meet the diverse needs of students across different environments.
- Create a structured, supportive, and safe classroom that promotes both academic and social development.
Requirements:
- Valid Michigan SLP license
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Preferred experience in providing virtual therapy
- At least 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection and fast computer
Compensation and Additional Information:
- 1099 contract position
- Hourly pay: $41-$47
- Guaranteed weekly hours
- Clinical and technical support available on demand
