Role Overview & Responsibilities
We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Special Education Teacher with a focus on reading to join our team in St. Paul, Minnesota! This full-time position offers the chance to work with 7th and 8th-grade students, supporting their academic growth and helping them succeed. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Caseload: Manage a caseload of 12-14 middle school students (7th and 8th grade).
• IEPs and Evaluations: Write and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and conduct evaluations to ensure each student’s needs are met.
• Meetings: Participate in IEP and evaluation meetings, collaborating with parents, support staff, and educators.
• Teaching & Collaboration: Co-teach with general education teachers, focusing on reading and literacy development for students with special needs.
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The position starts immediately and runs through June 4th.

Requirements

• Licensure: Must hold a valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher License.
• Experience: Prior experience working with middle school students with special needs is preferred.
• Skills: Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills are key to working effectively with students, staff, and families.

• We are conducting interviews Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
