Role Overview & Responsibilities
We're looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support high school students in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, from now through June 2, 2025. This role focuses on making a meaningful impact in the lives of 9th-11th graders with individualized needs. Key responsibilities include:
- Caseload Management: Oversee a manageable caseload of 15-16 students, ensuring each receives the support they need to succeed.
- Direct Support: Provide daily instruction and support, adapting to each student’s unique learning plan.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with other staff to foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom for all students.
Schedule
- Hours per Day: 7.5 (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday)
Requirements
- Certification: Valid Wisconsin Special Education certification.
- Experience: Prior experience with high school students preferred.
- Skills: Ability to develop individualized plans and work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
