ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team for the summer and upcoming school year.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
• Deliver specialized instruction based on students' individual goals, employing a variety of teaching strategies and materials.
• Assess and monitor students' progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary to maximize their learning potential.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement appropriate accommodations and modifications.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and school-wide initiatives to enhance special education practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid in state teaching certification in Special Education
• Familiarity with the IEP process and ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs.
• Ability to adapt to changing educational environments and embrace innovation in special education practices.
• Active PA Clearances to work in schools
